When I look in the mirror
my reflection says
that I am ugly.
Is the whole world not enough?
to point out my flaws
that my
reflection also got added in the list.
But then I realize
It is not the reflection
It is my mind
who tries to lower my worth?
Why can’t my mind accept me the way I am?
May be because she is afraid of what people say?
My dark complexion,
My boring eyes,
My crooked nose,
My bulgy lips,
My curvy body,
My short height.
Does that define me?
Does that define the way I met people?
Does that define the way I greet people?
Does that define my personality?
Why does that overshadow me?
Why does that overshadow my loving nature?
Why does that overshadow my warmth and affection?
Why does that overshadow my true abilities and
talents?
Why does this happen?
Not only the whole world
but I also became the enemy of me.

PS - Howdy People! I have taken up the 7 days continuous blogging challenge and I would be writing fictional poems.
This is the SECOND day of the challenge. In this poem, I want to tell you that "embrace the way you are and your physical attributes does not define you."
I would like to thank @nil.arts for creating an artistic view of my poem.
Hope you like it!
